We are a group of residents at Oak Point in Middleborough Massachusetts, organized in support of democracy and the democratic system of government. As citizens, our goal is to ensure that laws, policies, leadership, and major initiatives at the local and national level of government are determined by and for the people rather than by and for the wealthiest and most powerful members of society. In order to achieve that goal, we recognize that the Democratic Party is the national political party most closely aligned with these principles, based on its current party platform and its record of governance over the past century in America.
